Lazaats boutique hotel was yesterdays venue for the rocking wedding of Jo and Mark of Hull. www.lazaats.com Great couple and fantastic crowd made for a lovely yet mad day just waiting for my unique wedding photography style!! Nobody knew we were to be entertained by a multi talented Hull rock band who blew Lazaats pavillion room roof off!

The Tickton Grange is one of my favourite places to capture wedding photography, and have photographed literally hundreds of wedding celebrations there! Maggy , Paul , Dave and the rest of the team are all top friendly professionals and with the lovely grounds and interiors, its hard to beat combining with my special wedding style. I have just finished shooting the newly furbished bedrooms which look fantastic (pics on show this week), If you do visit the Grange, please ask to view my wedding photography album which is available there permanently.

An early image from the www.hotels-hull.co.uk mercure royal hotel wedding of Lauren and Matthew yesterday. A very warm day and a good set of guests made for a lovely wedding in Hull city centre. With the grand interior of the Mercure Royal and another great cake from www.cakecreationsbyjillfisher.co.uk , great wedding photography was guaranteed. Just added an all new wedding portfolio to this site. I think it gives a good overview of my recent wedding work in Hull, Beverley and East Yorkshire and now the new site is up and running (many thanks to James Greenwood), I will be updating all of the portfolios (wedding, portraits and models) regularly. I realise imitation is a great form of flattery, so many thanks to the photographers (new and established-you know who you are!) who attempt to copy my inovative ideas and images on a regular basis. This wedding portfolio will help you as usual but would suggest thinking of some forward thinking ideas of your own would also make you leaders instead of followers in the eyes of our clients. Thanks anyway, its a pleasure to be thought of being at the forefront of my field. I do like to compare my photography with the latest VW golf advert “often imitated – never equalled” !

Every Beverley, Hull and East Yorkshire wedding photography booking I take, I always offer the couple a free pre wedding portrait shoot. This can be taken at you convenience at any time before your wedding and can be taken in my modern and warm Beverley portrait studio (close to Hull and all of the East riding towns) , in the garden studio (10 seconds away!) or out on location. This session gives us a great chance to get to know each other better and to help you to relax in front of the camera on your wedding day.
Many photographers will encourage the location idea as they are not adept in a studio or dont own one! I am totally flexible but remember the British weather does not respect your busy life style, so using a studio means no cancellations! I am not only restricted to weekends and evenings as many of our part timer snapping friends are (remember, they do have a full time job to do….).

A multi national crowd and a couple very much in love made for a fantastic wedding celebration. Great location and helpful staff at the Tickton Grange, coupled with www.flowersbysarahslator.co.uk and the singing waiters made it a pleasure to capture beautiful memories of the day.

Lovely day out with Mark and Sandra at their Beverley wedding and onto the westwood restaurant. A very intimate and emotional wedding with lots of tears and laughter. This wedding was so intimate I was one of the witnesses! Having been a Beverley wedding photographer for over 20 years, knowing the locations to shoot is second nature and always a pleasure.
